Producer
In February 1998, Deepak Dhar joined MTV as a senior producer and continued until December 2001. He then joined Star Network as Group Head in January 2001 and worked there till January 2006. In February 2006, he worked as a creative director at Endemol Shine India. In 2006, Deepak Dharma, along with Rajesh Kamat, started Endemol India (which later became Endemol Shine India in 2015) from a small office in Andheri, Mumbai. In January 2008, he was promoted to the position of managing director in the company.

In the first week of the launch of Endemol India, Kamat gave Dhar CDs to the famous American TV show Big Brother and told Deepak to produce similar reality show programs in India. Dhar then presented and presented the reality show Bigg Boss in 2006.

On 17 July 2023, Banijay Asia Group announced that they had acquired Endemol Shine India. In the same month, Deepak Dhar joined Banijay Asia & Endemol Shine India as Founder & Group CEO. As CEO of the company, he focused on the group’s content strategies, partnerships, new business and alliances. In addition, he worked to build the reputation of both companies.
