Pragya Jaiswal made her Tamil film debut with Kumar T’s scripted and directed bilingual thriller ‘Virattu’ released on 21 March 2014 under White Candy Entertainment. In the movie, Pragya played the role of Mavi. The film starred Sujeevi, Erica Fernandes, Pragya Jaiswal and Manobala. He received great appreciation from the audience for his acting prowess in his debut film. The Telugu version of the film titled ‘Dega’ also featured Pragya as Mavi.
In the same year, he also made his Bollywood debut with the Hindi film ‘Titoo MBA’ directed by Amit Watts. Then in 2015, Pragya Jaiswal played the role of Vasundara opposite Varun Tej in the Telugu film Mirchi Lanti Kurradu. She played the character of Sita Devi’s daughter, a very rich and wealthy lady and was in love with Hari Babu played by Varun Tej. He gained a lot of popularity for his role in the film and got an opportunity to work with famous Telugu directors. He then acted in the Telugu language romantic war film ‘Kanche’. But given the greater interest in the film, it was not sustained. Our track didn’t go well with the story and Salman sir has found that out several times in the past. But my favorite part of the movie is the song that’s coming out now, so it’s the best thing that could happen, so I’m really happy and grateful. “
