In 2001, Pankit Thacker made his acting debut in the popular Hindi TV serial ‘Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii’, in which he played the role of Harshi. He talked about the TV show and its director Ekta Kapoor in an interview. he quoted,
Everything I am today is because Ekta Kapoor noticed me and gave me a chance to start my career as a hero and I hope to work with Ekta in one of her shows in the near future. In all the roles I have played till date, I have managed to be liked and appreciated as an actor, and I am grateful to all the producers I have worked with who have given me a variety of roles and trusted my ability to perform them.
