- Richa Rathore worked in a multinational corporation in Chandigarh before she started acting. In an interview, he talked about it and said:
With the influx of talent in the industry, there are so many startups waiting to get that one right project. In my case, I had a casting team visit my engineering college. They did it to me too. I forgot all that and one day I got a call to come to Mumbai as they wanted me to join Kumkum Bhagya. At that time, I was working in an MNC and it was a tough call, but as luck would have it, I made it to Mumbai.
- In an interview, Richa Rathore talked about how she decided to continue her acting career. While she was pursuing her engineering course, Richa auditioned for a small role in the Hindi film Tamasha (2015); A group of film audience visited Richa College. Later, Richa got a small role in the film, after which she decided to pursue her acting career. She said,
Everything started with Imtiaz Ali’s movie “Tamsa”. I was completing my engineering when a team came to our college for auditions. The shooting was done only in Shimla. That’s when I felt that acting is what I want to do.”
