Farzana is the secretary of Indian actress Rekha. He has been with Rekha for more than three decades. Farzana came into the limelight in 2023 when journalist, news anchor and biographer Yasser Usman hinted at a “secret relationship” between her and Rekha in his book Rekha: The Untold Story.

Rekha and Farzana – a mysterious relationship
According to Rekha’s biography written by Yasser Usman, Farzana and Rekha share a romantic and potentially sexual relationship. The book also says that the relationship is sexual. Reviewers of the book stated,
Farzana is an ideal partner for Rekha. He is her consultant, friend and supporter, and Rekha simply cannot live without her.”

Talking about this, she revealed in an interview that when the entire family used to gather in Delhi for family functions, they noticed a significant change in Rekha’s behavior when Farzana was around. Rekha’s daughter-in-law said in an interview:
Something different was happening between Rekha and Farzana. Friendship and sisters are different, but Rekha and Farzana’s behavior was not the same. Rekha and Farzana had a relationship like husband and wife. I have seen all this with my own eyes.”
Career
Farzana worked as Rekha’s hairdresser in the 1980s. By 1986, she had become his secretary. In 1988, Farzana moved to Rekha’s house and has been living there ever since.

- According to reports, he is so close to Rekha that only he is allowed in Rekha’s bedroom, a privilege not even extended to the domestic staff.
