Mishti Chakraborty was born as Indrani Chakraborty on 21 December 1987 (age 34 years; as of 2022) in Gadia, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. While at school, she was not at all interested in acting, but was always fascinated by the world of glamour. He is a graduate in English Literature from Calcutta University. Mishti pursued modeling as her side hobby during her college days and this was her first exposure to the camera. Mishti was the first to enter the film industry. She has made her way in Telugu and Hindi films with several blockbuster performances.

Mishti Chakraborty started her film career with her debut film, Kaanchi: The Unbreakable (2014), directed by renowned Bollywood director Subhash Ghai, starring famous actors like Karthik Aaryan, Rishi Kapoor and Mithun Chakraborty. Subhash Ghai, the director of this film, often gives his characters a name that starts with the letter ‘M’ as it represents the mother. Well, Subhash Ghai gave the then ‘Indrani Chakraborty’ a new name, ‘Mishti’ and did not use any other name in any film.
Mishti Chakraborty was also in the limelight with her superhit Telegu debut film, ‘Chinnadana Nee Kosam’ (2014), directed by A. Karunakaran starring Nithin Kumar Reddy. Despite moderate success and mixed reviews, Mishti was unstoppable.
Mishti also made her Malayalam debut with Adam Joan (2017), directed by Jinu V. Abraham, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran. This movie was a huge success in the Malayalam film industry and gave Mishti Chakraborty a lot of recognition.
