Ramandeep Singh started training under coach Sukhwinder Tinku and was later selected for the Mohali U-16 team in the 2012 Punjab Inter-District Championship where he scored a double century. He later played for the Mohali U-19 team in the 2016 Punjab U-19 Championship. In 2017, he played for the Mohali team in the Katoch Shield tournament.
He made his T20 debut for Punjab on 29 January 2017 against Haryana in an Inter State Twenty20 tournament at Nadaun, Himachal Pradesh, scoring 6 runs. In 2018, he represented the Punjab U-23 team in the BCCI U-23 One Day League, which they won. He made his List A (One Day) debut for Punjab on 5 October 2019 against Vidarbha in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in Vadodara, Gujarat.
He made his first-class (Test) debut for Punjab on 12 February 2020 against Bengal in the Ranji Trophy at Patiala, Punjab and bowled a duck in the first innings to score 69 not out in the second innings; However, Punjab lost the match.
