In 2023, he appeared as a guest on the celebrity talk show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ which aired on Sony TV.

Sayeed Quadri was born on Monday, October 3, 1960 (age 62; as of 2022) in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. After completing his studies, he moved to Mumbai in 1986 to pursue his career as a lyricist in the Hindi film industry. However, he could not find a job for seven years, and then decided to return to his homeland. A decade later, he again moved to Mumbai and established himself in the Hindi film industry as a successful lyricist.

Sayeed Quadri made his debut as a lyricist in the Hindi film industry with the film Jism (2003), in which he penned three songs. In the same year, he wrote all the songs for the film ‘Saaya’. In 2004, he wrote 4 songs for the movie “Murder”, including the song “Bheege Honth Tere” and “Kaho Na Kaho” became superhits and stayed at the top of the music, radio and streaming charts for a long time.

  • He was inclined to write poetry since childhood and started writing poetry in 8th standard.
  • Before becoming a successful lyricist, he worked as an LIC agent for almost 10 years in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
  • In an interview, he talked about the debut song and said that when he was out of work, he used to go out of the house and wrote the verse “Awaarpan Banjarapan”, which later became his debut song, which appeared in the film “Jism” (2003).
