Intimate Scenes In The Film ‘Dirty Hari’
Soon after the release of the Gadar 2 movie trailer in July 2023, some social media users started trolling actress Simrat Kaur for her casting in the movie. Earlier, Simrat Kaur appeared in many Telugu movies and was cast in Gadar 2 opposite Utkarsh Sharma, who played the son of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in the movie. However, some fans did not like that Simrat was chosen because earlier she appeared in some low-budget erotic films where she did explicit scenes. In the Telugu movie Dirty Hari, she did some bold and intimate scenes. Some fans commented on social media that someone who worked on such projects should not be a main actor in a patriotic movie like Gadar 2. Some social media users began criticizing Simrat Kaur a lot for being in the movie; however, Ameesha Patel defended her. Ameesha Patel said that it was not right to shame a woman, and Patel requested people to spread positivity instead of hate. On 13 July 2023, Patel tweeted that she spent the whole evening supporting Simrat Kaur against the negativity about her being in the movie.
