AM Turazi Aas Muhammad Turazi aka Turazi was born in Sambalkheda village near Miranpur town in Muzaffarpur district, Uttar Pradesh, India. According to one source, he was born on Thursday, September 19, 1974 (age 48 years; as of 2022), and according to another source, he was born on Sunday, September 19, 1982 (age 40 years; as of 2022). Her zodiac sign is Virgo. He learned Urdu at home because his family spoke Urdu. He was interested in writing since his teenage years and also liked the charm of movies, so he moved to Mumbai in 2002 and pursued his writing career.

In 2005, she got her first film Kudiyon Ka Hai Zamaana (2006) and her debut song was Kehta Hai Yeh Mera Dil. He later composed many songs for various hit films including Guzaarish (2010), Chakravyuh (2012), Bajirao Mastani (2015), Padmaavat (2018), Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022) and Satyaprem Ki Katha (2023). Some of his famous songs include Kabhi Jo Badal Barse, Ghoomar, Binte Dil, Khalibali, Bhula Diya and Jab Saiyaan.

Apart from Bollywood, he has participated in various poetry shows (Mushairs) in different countries of the world. In 2014, his poems were published in a book titled Lamhe.

Story writer and dialogue writer

In 2016, he made his debut as a story writer with the movie Direct Ishq and in 2021, he made his debut as a web series writer with the Hotstar web series The Empire. In 2016, he made his debut as a dialogue writer in the film 1:13:7 Ek Tera Saath.

Legal case for Mehngai Song

In 2012, he wrote a song titled Mehngai in the film Chakravyuh, which featured the names of famous Indian industrialists and business brands including Birla, Tata and Bata. The lyrics of the song were ‘Birla Ho Ya Tata Ambani Ho Ya Bata, Apne Apne Chakar Mein Desh Ko Hai Kata Birla Ho Ya Tata Ambani Ho Ya Bata Apne Apne Chakar Mein Desh Ko Hai Kata.’ A case was filed in the Delhi High Court to stop the broadcast of the song; However, the court allowed the song to be shown with a disclaimer.
