Palash Mukhhal was born on Monday, 22 May 1995 (age 28 years; as of 2023) in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. His zodiac sign is Gemini. He received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from a college in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. In an interview about his career, he revealed that his love for music began at the age of four. He mentioned that his sister Palak Mukhhal, who is a singer, once came to London and brought back gifts and chocolates. This inspired him to think that he too could get such pleasure if he sang like her. As a result, Palash joined the Kalyanji-Ananji Little Star Group, where Ananji Shah became his mentor. This allowed him to be involved in Ananji Shah’s global music projects. Originally from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, his family moved to Mumbai in 2006 to support both his and his sister’s musical dreams. She represents the Indian women’s national team and has participated in the Women’s Premier League as a player for Royal Challengers Bangalore. He has reportedly been in a relationship with Smriti Mandana for the past four years and they often share pictures of each other on social media. On 18 July 2023, Smriti celebrated her 27th birthday in Dhaka while playing in an ODI series against Bangladesh Women. On the eve of the second 50-run match, the Indian team threw him a birthday party. Palash Mukhhal flew down to Dhaka to join the celebration and posted a lovely picture of the two on Instagram, sending a birthday wish to the Indian cricket star. He appeared in several commercials before making his debut as a Bollywood actor. It was then that Indian director Ashutosh Gowariker noticed him and decided to cast him in his next film. Gowariker was reportedly mesmerized by the composer’s curly hair. Palash made her acting debut in Ashutosh Gowariker’s Indian Hindi-language historical adventure film titled Khelein Hum Ji Jaan Sei. The film, starring Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, was released on 3 December 2010. Palash portrayed the character of Subodh Roy.

According to some reports, Indian actor and producer Harman Baweja first met Palash at the premiere of Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, and after the premiere, Baweja got a chance to listen to some of Palash’s songs and later introduced him to Shilpa Shetty Kundra. Shilpa Shetty Kundra was thrilled when she heard Palash’s songs. As a result, he offered her to work in the film ‘Dishkiyaoon’, which he produced. In 2014, when he was 18 years old, he made his debut as a composer. In an interview, Palash shared an exciting story about his song ‘Tu Hi Hai Aashiqui’ from Dishkiyaoon. Her sister sang for her in Dishkiyaoon and described it as an incredibly touching experience for both her and her family. Palash’s song “Party Toh Banti Hai” was featured in Bhushan Kumar’s film Bhootnath Returns. When asked about his experience working on the film, Palash mentioned that The Meet Brothers had already worked on the project and supported him throughout, which made the collaboration a fantastic experience. He also shared how his excitement grew when Amitabh Bachchan himself danced to his tunes. He has composed music for several Bollywood films such as Bhoothnath Returns (2014), Dishkiyaoon (2014) and Amit Sahni Ki List (2014). Some of his famous songs are ‘Party Toh Banti Hai’ from Bhoothnath Returns, ‘Tu hi hai Aashiqui’ from Dishkiyaoon and ‘What The Fark’ from Amit Sahni Ki List. In 2017, he worked on the music video titled “Tu Jo Kahe” featuring Parth Samthaan and Anmol Malik. Then, in 2018, he was involved in music production for two more videos: ‘Nishaa’ starring Parth Samthaan and Charlie Chauhan, and ‘Fans nahi Friends’ starring Parth Samthaan, Niti Taylor and Varun Sharma.

During the Taj Mahotsava event in Uttar Pradesh on March 2, 2018, the Uttar Pradesh Police filed a report against Palash Mukhhal. It was said that he misbehaved with someone in the organizing committee. - In 2014, his sister sang for him in the film ‘Dishkiyaoon’, in which he made his debut as a composer. He described it as a deeply disturbing moment for him and his family. In the interview, she talked about their relationship and how they have fun being siblings at home. However, when they enter the music studio, they switch to a professional approach. They are also expected to attend the first screening of their films together.

- He is known for organizing many stage shows in India and other countries to raise funds and help needy children, especially those with heart ailments. Since 2000, Palak and his brother have been extensively touring India and other countries for their charity shows titled “Dil Se Dil Tak” in Hindi and “Save Little Hearts” in English.
