Abdu Rozik aka Savrikul Muhammedrozik was born on Tuesday 23 September 2003 (age 19 years; as of 2022) in Gishdarva, Panjakent District, Tajikistan. His zodiac sign is Libra. He studied till 10th grade. Later he started learning to read and write. He started working as a singer in the streets of Gishdarva at a very young age.

In 2019, while he was singing on the streets of Gishdarva, he was supported by Tajik blogger-rapper Baron (Behruz), who convinced Abdu’s father to let him pursue a singing career. Abdu’s father gave permission, and later Abdu moved to Dubai with Baron. At first Baroni helped Abdu financially.

A rare disease
As a child, he was diagnosed with rickets, growth hormone deficiency. Due to his family’s poor financial situation, they could not afford proper medical treatment for his illness, which resulted in stunting his physical growth. In an interview, when asked if his medical condition affected his self-esteem, Abdu replied:
Not easily. I know many people who have no job, no good family and no money. I’ve had my fair share of struggles, but I’m happy with where I’m at now. I shared the stage with the world’s greatest composer; What more do I want in my career? I want to give birth to people who have a similar condition. I believe everyone is special in some way.”

Abdu lent his voice to various Tajik songs such as “Ohi Dili Zor” (2019), “Chaki Chaki Boron” (2020) and “Modar” (2021).

In an interview, he told us how he started singing. She said,
I learned songs by listening to cassettes. When I was stressed, I would hum and sing to distract myself. Eventually, singing became a passion. I lived in a village and therefore I sang at markets. My social media page still has videos from when I started,” he shares, adding, “I only knew about the latest songs after I moved to Dubai.
His songs are available on YouTube channel Abdu Rozik. The lyrics of most of his songs are based on the struggles he has faced in his life.

Abdu also participated in several MMA fights against children and dwarf players. In May 2021, Russian TikToker and MMA fighter Hasbula (who also suffers from the same disease) challenged him in an MMA fight. As soon as their MMA match was announced, it caused an uproar on social media, but the Russian Dwarf Sports Association (RDAA) disapproved, calling it unethical. During an interview, when Hasboulah was asked about the fight, he said:
Abdu Rozik? He is a bogeyman. singer. There is no point in this fight, it would be a shame for me to fight with the singer.”

In 2021, he uploaded a video in which he sings the Hindi song “Enna Sona” from Arijit Singh’s film “OK Jaanu” (2017). He was invited to the IIFA (2022) award ceremony held in Abu Dhabi, UAE. During the event, she sang the Hindi song ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ from the film ‘1942: A Love Story’ (1994). He dedicated the song to Salman Khan who was also present at the event. After the event, Salman Khan met him and hugged him.
Abdu was then invited to India to attend AR Rahman’s daughter Khatija Rahman’s wedding reception. Speaking about this in an interview, Abdu said:
Amin (Rahman’s son and a musician) knew what I was doing and had to. We kept in touch and then we met for the first time in Dubai. We became good friends and later, I met AR Rahmanji. I played the piano and we all had an impromptu jam session. This was my first meeting with him.”
He also performed live with famous Indian singer AR Rahman. Speaking about the same in an interview, he said:
I sang Mustafa Mustafa with him on stage. It was a great honor to perform with the Oscar-winning composer, who is world-renowned for his music. I was really nervous while singing his lines. But it was sweet enough to sing me through. Sharing the stage with one of my favorite musicians was a dream come true moment for me.
In 2022, he participated in the 16th season of the Hindi reality show ‘Bigg Boss’. During the interview, he talked about his participation in the show. She said,
I am excited and nervous but looking forward to start the next chapter of my life Bigg Boss 16. Being small and small used to be such a hindrance because people always underestimated my abilities. People have always bad-mouthed me as an unfortunate child of God and made fun of me for my disability throughout my childhood, but now look where I have come today.”
