Career

In 2011, Vikramaditya joined politics and became a member of the Indian National Congress. In 2013, he was elected as the President of the Himachal Pradesh Youth Congress. In the 2017 Assembly elections, Vikramaditya contested from Shimla Rural constituency and won the seat by 13,860 votes from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Ravi Mehta. In 2022, he contested from the same constituency and won by defeating BJP candidate Dr. Pramod Sharma by 4,880 votes. On 8 January 2023, he was sworn in as a Cabinet Minister in the Sukhwinder Singh Sukh Ministry.
