After receiving her bachelor’s degree, Parshottam Rupala began working as a school principal at a municipal girls’ high school in Hamapur, Gujarat from 1977 to 1983. Parshottam Rupala served as the Chief Municipal Officer of Amreli from 1983 to 1987. 1991. In 1992, he served as the secretary of Amreli district. Parshottam Rupala served as Cabinet Minister for Narmada River from 19 March 1995 to 20 October 1995 to implement irrigation and water supply projects in Gujarat.
