Shabir Ahmed is an Indian lyricist, music composer, singer and poet. He has worked as a lyricist for many popular Hindi films such as ‘Bodyguard’ (2011), ‘Kick’ (2014) and ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ (2022; Hindi version).

In 2004, he started his career as a lyricist for the Hindi film ‘Garv: Pride & Honour’ for the songs ‘Hum Tumko Nigahon Mein’ and ‘Fariyaad Kya Kare Ham’.

- As a child, she wanted to pursue an acting career. However, his father guided him to become a lyricist.
- When he was growing up, he listened to the compositions of famous Indian music composers Naushad, Muhammad Zahoor Khayyam and Madan Mohan.
- In an interview, she shared that she faced various financial difficulties during her childhood and her family used to eat dal chawal and sabzi only when guests came to their house.
- In his spare time, he enjoys reading books and listening to poems written by Indian poets Sahir Ludhianvi, Gulzar and Harivansh Rai Bachchan.
- Ahmed considers Indian actor Salman Khan as his godfather in Bollywood.
