Starting her career in performing arts at the age of 16 and doing many shows around the world, films came quite naturally to Auritra Ghosh. She made her Bollywood debut with the Hindi romantic film Love Breakups Zindagi (2011), produced by Sahara Motion Pictures and Born Free Entertainment. Having already faced the cameras during her dancing days, Auritra Ghosh was keen on filmmaking.

Later in 2015, Auritra produced a film under the banner, Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, Dharam Sankat Mein, which also featured legendary film actors like Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor and Naseeruddin Shah. Although the film received mixed reviews from the audience, Auritra excelled at everything that came her way.

In 2016, Auritra Ghosh starred in India’s first ‘stoner film’ M Cream, a road trip film. Although it was a challenging role for Auritra Ghosh, the film did very well and was also acquired by Netflix for worldwide viewing.

He was also an essential part of the cast of “Stand Up: A Serious Play on Comedy” – an Aquarius theater production featuring various nuances and performances.
