Komal Zanzadi is an Indian cricketer who plays for the Indian women’s national cricket team. A right-handed batsman and left-arm medium fast bowler, Komal plays for Vidarbha Women at domestic level. On 13 February 2023, during the inaugural Women’s Premier League auctions, she was picked up by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 25 lakh.

Komal Ravindra Zanzadi was born on Wednesday 10 July 1991 (age 31 years; as of 2022) in Nagpur, Maharashtra. His zodiac sign is Cancer.
An average student, Komal graduated in Mechanical Engineering from GH Raisoni College of Engineering. As a child, Komal watched boys playing cricket in his colony and developed a passion for the sport. He grew up smashing his neighbours’ window panes as he played the grunt at his place. Soon he discovered his love for pace bowling and enrolled in a summer camp at Shree Binzani City College ground where he trained under coach Dalvi. She was 13 years old and the only girl in the camp. After that he trained at the Baba Rocque Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) grounds. He also trained at Mujumdar Square for a while. Komal put up a brilliant performance in the one-day tournament organized by the Vidarbha Women’s Cricket Association (VWCA) and secured a place in the VCA camp. In the camp, Komal trained under the guidance of coaches, trainers and nutritionists, which improved his overall value and cricketing skills.

Komal Zanzadi made her debut for the Vidarbha women’s cricket team at the age of 15. She grabbed the headlines after taking nine wickets for eight runs in the 2018–19 Senior Women’s One Day League match against Haryana; Vidarbha Women dismissed Haryana Women by 31 runs in 18.4 overs. It was a turning point in his career.
After her impressive performance in the 2018–19 Senior Women’s One Day League, Komal was named in the India Red squad for the 2018–19 Senior Women’s Challenger Trophy. Komal showed tremendous character against tough domestic sides like Punjab Women and Andhra Pradesh Women.
International
In 2019, Komal Zanzad took three wickets for fourteen runs in seven overs while playing for the Indian Council President’s Women’s XI side in a 50-over warm-up match against England. Her performance in the match impressed the selectors, who named her in India’s Women’s Twenty20 International (WT20I) squad for their series against England in February 2019. Zanzadi was one of the Vidarbha women selected for the national team. Another is Bharti Fulmal. She has also played for India A Women and India C Women.
