Jasia Akhtar was born on Friday 27 May 1988 (age 35; as of 2023) in Braipora, Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir, India. His zodiac sign is Gemini. He went on to do his Masters from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Jaisa had an interest in cricket since childhood. At the age of eight, he played cricket for the first time with his cousin’s bat. In an interview, one of his cousins recalls that Jasya played while everyone was studying. In 2005, he participated in the Under-19 cricket tournament held in Bhopal and won the first gold medal for Jammu and Kashmir in National School cricket. In 2012, he represented Jammu and Kashmir in the All India North Zone and in 2013, he represented Punjab. In 2013, he went to Punjab due to lack of facilities in Jammu and Kashmir.
