Gurnoor Brar aka Gurnoor Singh Brar was born on Thursday, 25 May 2000 (age 23 years; as of 2023) in Muksar, Punjab. His zodiac sign is Gemini. Studied at Ryan International School, Chandigarh. He received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education (BPEd) from DAV College, Chandigarh.
He started playing cricket as a child and trained at the Launch Pad Cricket Academy in Mohali, Punjab under coaches Varinder Singh and Ayush Mehandirata. He played cricket for his school and college and won the Red Bull Campus Cricket National for DAV College in 2019.

Domestic
In August 2021, he was selected for the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy camp for the Punjab state team. On 14 December 2021, he played his ODI debut in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for Punjab against Goa and took 1 wicket for 62 runs. On 20 December 2022, he played his Test debut in the Ranji Trophy for Punjab against Railways and took 4 wickets for 16 runs in the first innings.
He scored his maiden Ranji half-century in the match against Jammu and Kashmir. He played in the Under-25 A State Cup in 2022-23 and took 20 wickets in 8 matches at an average of 18.90 and an economy rate of 5.17, including two 4-wicket hauls.
Indian Premier League (IPL)
In the 2023 IPL season, he was acquired by Punjab Kings (PBKS) at his base price of Rs 20 lakh after Kings player Raj Angad Bawa was ruled out with a left shoulder injury.
