Fabian Allen was born on Sunday, May 7, 1995 (age 25; as of 2020) in Kingston, Jamaica. His full name is Fabian Anthony Allen. His zodiac sign is Taurus. He studied at Vere Technical High School. While at school, he created national history by scoring 338 runs in a match in Jamaica, breaking the previous highest individual score in rural schoolboy cricket of 325 runs by Eltham High’s Shakoya Thomas. After achieving this feat, he was also named the RJR Communications Group Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year 2012. Circumstances were not very favorable for Fabian while he was growing up. Speaking about his early life, Fabian says:
I grew up in rough places. We are tough and can take pain. Where I live, it’s very difficult to play. “We used to play cricket on dirt.”

Career
Fabian Allen was part of the West Indies squad at the 2014 U-19 Cricket World Cup; However, he could not play in any match. On 25 November 2016, Fabian played his first first-class match for Jamaica in the 2016–17 regional four-day competition. In November 2017, he scored 169 runs for Jamaica against Trinidad and Tobago in the 2017–18 regional four-day competition. It was also his first century in first-class cricket. He came into limelight after some cracking performances in Global T20 Canada 2018. Fabian has played in various important domestic cricket tournaments around the world.
Some of the major domestic franchises that Fabian Allen represents are Jamaica Tallawahs (CPL), Multan Sultans (Pakistan Super League), St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots (CPL), Sunrisers Hyderabad (IPL) and Sylhet Sixers (BPL).

His impressive performances in the domestic circuit helped him earn a place in India’s 2018 tour of the West Indies. On 27 October 2018, he made his international debut for the West Indies in a One Day International (ODI) match against India in Pune. He also made his T20 debut against India a week later on 4 November 2018. Over the years, Fabian Allen has emerged as a decent all-round cricketer and has become a crucial part of the West Indies limited overs team. Although Fabian has made a name for himself as a short format cricketer, he does not consider himself only a short format player. His dream is to represent West Indies in Test matches. Speaking about this, he said:
I’m just playing shorter formats now, focusing on shorter formats. I still love red ball cricket. Red ball cricket is my dream.

- In 2016, Fabian met with a serious car accident, during which one of his hands was seriously injured. Doctors said Fabian might not be able to hold a bat again; However, he proved them wrong by coming back and scoring plenty of runs in the home circle. Speaking about the accident, Allen said:
It was a situation that could have happened to anyone. I was trying to protect the other driver who was coming from the opposite side. Unfortunately, the car lost control and overturned. The doctor said I was lucky because I almost lost my hand. But God brought me through.”
- In 2020, Fabian Allen was kicked out of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) after he missed a charter flight to Trinidad where the tournament was to be held. Amid the COVID-19 restrictions in Trinidad, flying was the only way Allen could land in Trinidad.
