Hayley Mathews is a West Indian cricketer who has played for the West Indies national team and various teams around the world. She has played in the Women’s Big Bash League, the Women’s T20 Cricket Super League, The Hundred and the Women’s Premier League. She is considered one of the best all-rounders in women’s cricket.

Hayley Kristen Matthews aka Hayley Matthews was born on Thursday 19 March 1998 (age 25 years; as of 2023) in Bridgetown, Barbados. His zodiac sign is Pisces. He was interested in cricket since childhood and would often go to the ground to watch the matches played by his father. He went with his brother to the Pickwick Club’s Kensington Oval and during the break they ran on and around the ground. He attended the People’s Cathedral Primary School near his home and started playing in the school’s boys’ team around the age of 8. He became the captain of the team at the age of 11. After finishing primary school, he passed the Common Entrance Examination and enrolled at Harrison College, one of the most prestigious secondary schools in Barbados. He then joined the school’s boys under-13 team, helping them win the tournament and captaining the team in his final year as an under-13 player.

He started playing for the Barbados under-19 cricket team at the age of 9 and was selected for the senior Barbados team in 2010 at the age of 12. By the age of 18, he was playing for Pickwick Club in the Men’s First Division.

He played his T20I debut on 27 September 2014 against New Zealand at Kingston and scored 14 runs. She played in the 2016 Women’s T20 World Cup held in India and she scored 66 runs off 45 balls in the final against Australia at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata, her first T20I half-century, helping them win the 2016 T20 World Cup. He was voted man of the match for his good performance. On 14 March 2018, he scored 53 runs off 31 balls against New Zealand at Mount Maunganui. On 6 October 2018, he scored 70 runs off 52 balls at Taruba against South Africa. On 29 May 2019, he scored his maiden T20I century with a score of 107 runs off 62 balls against Ireland in Dublin. On 6 October 2022, he scored 56 runs off 54 balls against New Zealand at North Sound.
