Agnimitra Pol was born as Agnimitra Ray on Saturday, November 25, 1972.age 49 years; As of 2021) in Asansol, Paschim Bardaman, West Bengal. He completed his secondary examination from the Board of Secondary Education of India at Loreto Convent School, Asansol in 1989.

In 1991, she passed the Higher Secondary Examination from the West Bengal Board of Higher Secondary Education at Asansol Girls’ College. He then went to Banwarilal Bhalotia College for a Bachelor of Science (Botany) degree and died in 1994. She also prepared for JEE, but ended up waiting on the waiting list for two years. His parents made a hefty donation to secure his admission in Bangalore Medical College. He left for Bangalore to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor. However, he gave up this dream because his friend Partho did not like it and returned home after a week. After getting married, she went to Jadavpur University to pursue her Masters in Business Administration. During that time, he also enrolled in a fashion design course at BILAMS and died in 1997.

Agnimitra is married to Partho Paul, an entrepreneur who is the CEO of the pharmaceutical company Palson Drugs & Chemical Industries. She met him for the first time in 1992 when she visited her father on official business.

In an interview, he talked about how they met and said:
I met Partho for the first time in 1992 when he visited my father on official work. Our first impressions? My dad liked him right away, my mom was a bit wary and I thought he was a very genuine guy. I had just completed my 12th standard then, dreaming of clearing JEE and becoming a doctor. But they say that when love comes, everything else pales in comparison.
At the beginning of dating, they exchanged romantic cards and soon got married. They have two sons named Vignesh Paul and Siddhesh Paul.

Designer
Agnimitra’s husband supported her dream of becoming a fashion designer and she started working as a fashion designer in various fashion houses. In 1996, she worked closely with established designers like Ritu Beri and continued doing such support work for five years with a monthly salary of around Rs. 2500. This income was her initial funding for her own store and later she started her own fashion retail label called Inga. He designed costumes for the Bollywood film Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe in 2001.

From 2006 to 2008, he designed costumes for several major film projects in Tollywood. These projects included films like Hungama, Swpan Saha’s film and Biddhatar Lekha, directed by Raja Mukherjee. According to Agnimitra, she is the first working woman in the family with the support of her husband. He spoke about this in an interview and said:
Who would have thought that spending a few hours every morning at BILAMS would make me embrace fashion design with such dedication! And this time Partho did not stand in the way. I was the first woman in my family to start working and I am very grateful to my husband and son-in-law for their support and encouragement.

In March 2019, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and became the president of the BJP Mahila Morcha, West Bengal. In the interview, he spoke about Narendra Modi, whom he considers his inspiration in politics, saying:
It was because of Narendra Modi that I joined the party. I admire him; I am a big fan and would love to work under his leadership. I joined BJP for him, no one else and nothing more. I like his speeches, politics and the work he has done for the country. India is in a very strong position because of its international policy.’

As president of BJP Mahila Morcha, she organized a training for women called Uma, which focused on self-defense training for women in 23 districts of West Bengal in September 2020. In 2021, he won the West Bengal Legislative Assembly election from Asansol Dakshin Vidhan Sabha, West Bengal. He won the election by 1800 votes against Congress candidate Sayani Ghosh.

Under section 506 of the Penal Code, he has 4 charges related to criminal intimidation. Under Section 324 of the IPC, he has one charge of causing harm to someone with a dangerous weapon. He is also charged with causing grievous hurt under Section 325. This is followed by another charge under IPC Section 505 for public mischief and a charge under Section 379 for theft. This is followed by fifteen more charges under various sections of the Indian Penal Code.
Confrontation
In September 2019, he registered a police complaint alleging that he was molested and physically assaulted by a mob at Jadavpur University in Kolkata, West Bengal. She said her clothes were torn and her modesty was attacked by a mob at the university. When filing the complaint, he said:
Before we were about to enter the broadcast venue, a group of rowdy people physically blocked our passage. They started shouting slogans. Gradually, the mob, which claimed to be university students, turned violent and began physical abuse, assault, abusive language and rioting.’
