Shafali Verma is an Indian cricketer. He holds the record of the youngest ever to play T20 cricket for India.

Shafali Verma was born on Wednesday, January 28, 2004 (age: 19 years, as of 2023) in Rohtak, Haryana. His zodiac sign is Aquarius. He did his schooling from Mandeep High School, Rohtak. In 2018, at the age of 14, she broke into the Haryana Under-16 Women’s team, given her exceptional performances and big hitting ability. In one match against Nagaland, he scored 128 runs off 56 balls. She played for the veteran Mithali Raj-led team in the ‘IPL Velocity’ Women’s T20 Challenge held in May 2019, where she once again showcased her skills and made her presence felt. After his excellent performances, he was selected to play for the national team and made his T20 International debut on 24 September 2019 against South Africa.

Sanjeev, who once dreamed of becoming a cricketer, was instrumental in the development of Shafali Verma’s cricketing career. He initially trained under Shafali for three years before joining Ram Narayan Cricket Club, Rohtak in 2016. His mother Praveen Bala is a housewife. Career

Shafali made his WT20I debut on 24 September 2019 against South Africa at the age of 15, becoming India’s youngest international cricket debutant. In November 2019, just two months after his international debut, he successfully surpassed the 30-year-old record held by his idol and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar when he hit 73 off 49 balls against the West Indies, becoming the youngest ever (at 285 days and 285 years). Due to her excellent performances, Verma was included in the Indian squad for the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia. Subsequently, the BCCI awarded him a Grade C player contract. In May 2021, Verma was included in India’s Test and Women’s One Day International (WODI) squads for the series against the England Women’s Cricket Team.
