On 27 December 2022, Prahlad Modi’s car met with an accident at 2 pm while he was traveling to Bandipura, Karnataka. According to reports, he was accompanied by his wife, son, daughter-in-law and grandson when the car hit the divider, after which Prahlad Modi’s grandson sustained a fractured leg. The rest of the members were then rushed to Mysuru’s JS Hospital and received minor injuries.
