Career
After completing his PhD in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy, Pritam Munde decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and join politics. He became the 16th member of the Lok Sabha after winning the by-elections in 2014. After winning, he was appointed as a member of the Other Backward Classes Welfare Committee from 2014 to 2019. He was a member of the Standing Committee on Energy (2015-2019) and Health and Family Welfare (2015-2019) and Health and Family Welfare (2014-2011). In 2019, Pritam Munde was re-elected for a second term in the 17th Lok Sabha elections. Subsequently, he was appointed as a member of the Other Backward Classes Welfare Committee, a member of the Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare and a member of the Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Railways.
