Liton Kumar Das was born on Wednesday, February 16, 1994 (age 28 years; as of 2022) in Dinjpur, Rajshahi, Bangladesh. His zodiac sign is Aquarius. Studied at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP). Later he studied at the American International University in Bangladesh. He used to play with a tennis ball in his hometown. His elder brother played cricket under coach Abu Samad Mitu and saw the players playing matches. He gradually developed an interest in cricket and started training under the guidance of Abu.

Domestic

He started playing in the Rajshahi Division in the under-13 team in 2006. In 2011, he played in Rangpur division in first class cricket. In the 2012-2013 season, he scored a century and a half century. In 2014 U-19 World Cup, he scored 239 runs in 4 matches. He also played for the under-15 and under-23 teams. In the 2016–17 season, he scored 752 runs in 14 matches, the most by any player in that season.

In November 2019, he suffered a concussion in a Test match against India at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, India. He was hit on the head by the bowler of India’s Mohammed Shami. He struggled for a few minutes and left the field after complaining of discomfort. In August 2022, he suffered a hamstring injury in the series against Zimbabwe. After an MRI scan, it was determined that it was a two-degree muscle strain. He recovered in 3-4 weeks.
