Kwazi Nurul Hasan Sohan was born on Sunday, 21 November 1993 (age 29 years; as of 2022) in Maheshwarpara, Khulna, Bangladesh. His zodiac sign is Scorpio. Studied at Government Majid Memorial City College and Khulna North University. He played cricket at the domestic level for many years before making his debut for the national team at the age of 23.

He made his List A debut in 2010 and his first domestic match in 2011. He played for Khulna Division, Sylhet Sixers. He played 3 years in domestic cricket and scored 489 runs in the 2013-14 season at an average of 81.50 including 2 centuries in the National Cricket League. In the 2016 season, he scored over 500 runs including a century. Played in Bangladesh A team. He played for Sheikh Jamal Dunmond’s club in the Dhaka Premier League and helped them win the title in 2022. Played for Sylhet Super Stars in Bangladesh Premier League 2015 and Chattogram Challengers in Bangladesh Premier League 2019-20.

He made his Test debut on 20 January 2017 against New Zealand at Hagley Oval, Christchurch, New Zealand and played against New Zealand, West Indies and Pakistan. He scored 64 runs in the Test match against West Indies. In a Test match against West Indies on 12 July 2018, he got out on a pair of golden ducks or kings. In the same Test match, he became the first Bangladeshi wicketkeeper to bowl 3 batsmen in an innings and a match.

He played his ODI debut on 29 December 2016 against New Zealand at Saxton Oval, Nelson, New Zealand and played against New Zealand, West Indies and Zimbabwe. He played 2 ODIs against New Zealand in 2016 and scored 64 runs. In 2021, he played in one ODI against Zimbabwe and scored 45 runs in 39 balls.

He played his T20I debut on 15 January 2016 against Zimbabwe at the Sheikh Abu Nasser Stadium in Khulna, Bangladesh and has played against every major T20 player in the nation, including India, West Indies, New Zealand, Pakistan, Australia, Sri Lanka and England. On 20 January 2016, he scored 30 runs in 176.47 balls against Zimbabwe to lead his country to victory. In the ICC T20 World Cup held in UAE in 2021, he scored 16 runs in 5 matches at a strike rate of 80.77. In the ICC T20 World Cup held in Australia in 2022, he scored 41 runs in 5 matches at a strike rate of 97.62.

During the final over of the match against Sri Lanka in Nidahas Tri-Series 2018, Nurul Hasan was a substitute player and he was sent to the field to deliver a message to the batsman. He spat at Sri Lankan captain Thisara Perera and gave him the finger. He was fined 25 percent of his match fee and given 1 point for a Level 1 breach of the ICC Code of Conduct. Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan was also fined 1 point for 25 per cent of the match. The Ministry of Internal Affairs issued a statement regarding the incident.
“Shakib breached Article 2.1.1 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which deals with conduct contrary to the spirit of the game, while Noor was found guilty of breaching Article 2.1.2, which deals with conduct that brings the game into disrepute.”

Virat Kohli accused of fake fielding in ICC T20 World Cup 2022
In a match against India in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022, he accused Indian cricketer Virat Kohli of fake fielding. Bangladesh lost the match by 5 runs and he said that the umpires should have penalized India by 5 runs and credited them with 5 runs. He spoke about this at the press session after the match and said.
“Obviously the pitch was wet and it had an impact and everybody saw it and ultimately what I felt was that when we were talking there was a foul shot and it could have been a five-point penalty and it could have gone our way, but unfortunately it didn’t happen either.”

- Nurul Hasan credits Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni as the reason for improving his wicket-taking skills. He said about the level. According to him, it follows Dhoni’s logic to see the ball until the last moment.
