In 2022, Kshama decided to adopt sologamy, also known as autogamy. It is a trending concept in which a person marries himself. It’s a trend that people have been embracing in Western countries for a while. In India, Kshama is the first person to adopt it. Her wedding was scheduled for June 11, 2022. She decided to perform all the Hindu rituals at a temple at Gotri in Vadodara, Gujarat. Like every bride, she also bought a lehenga of her choice and distributed her wedding invitation cards that only had her name on them.

After this news broke, reporters went to interview her and asked her how she ended up with this idea. She said,
This idea was on my mind since childhood, but I wasn’t sure if it was possible. Once I googled can I marry myself? It was then that I was introduced to the concept of Sologamy. After this, I thought why not marry myself.
Asked why she chose sologamy instead of marrying a man, she responded to this question by saying:
Self-marriage is a commitment to be there for yourself and to love yourself unconditionally. It is also an act of self-acceptance. People marry someone they love. I love myself and therefore this wedding.’
To avoid controversy, she moved up her marriage date and got married on June 8, 2022, at her residence in Daman, Gujarat. After the marriage, she planned her honeymoon trip to Goa.

She had a friend named Raj Bhatt who was very close to her and appeared in some of her Tiktok videos. Once, she published a poem specially written for him in which she tried to convey the importance of her in her life.

In January 2015, she started working as a dance choreographer at X Dance School. In April 2015, she started working as an HR Executive Recruiter at Kosas Industries Pvt Ltd and she left this job in February 2016. In 2016, she also worked as a Sales Manager at Fashion Clothing. In February 2016, she joined NJ Placement and Financial Services as a Human Resources Recruiting Manager and worked here for over two years. In November 2016, she also became an MD at Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Private Limited and worked here for two months. Following this, she worked at Ashwamedh Political Consulting as a Human Resources Manager until June 2017. In May 2018, she joined Collabera as a Career Development Executive and left this job in August 2018. She also worked as a freelance model in the same year. Her next move was at a US company called Cognixia, where she worked as an IT/Executive Career Development Recruiter for a year, leaving this job in March 2019. In April 2019, she joined another US-based company called Apidel Technologies and worked here as a Senior Healthcare Recruiter until December 2019. In January 2020, she joined IMS People and worked here as a Recruiter. senior until September 2020. In the same month, she started working at QX Global Group, UK as a Senior Information Technology Recruiter and left this job in January 2022.
