Himalaya Dasani married ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ actress Bhagyashree in 1990. Bhagyashree belonged to a Marathi family and her parents did not support her decision to marry outside the community. In 1987 Himalaya Dasani started working as Operations Manager at Hipan Kunstoffe Inc in Los Angeles. After almost two years with the company, he joined Cyma Dassani Marketing Private Limited as Director of Marketing and Operations. Later, the business expanded into television and film production, completing many popular television series and films. Himalaya, in 2009, was appointed as the Associate Director of Business Development at Isolux Corsán, a global brand working in energy, water and environmental, road and rail infrastructure development, with a presence in more than 35 countries on four continents. He spearheaded the growth of the company, which won the team many infrastructure projects – roads, power transmission.
