Deepali Syed started her acting career as Pallavi in the Marathi comedy film Chatur Navra Chikni Baiko in 2004. She appeared in the song Ye Ga Ye Main from the movie Jatra: Hyalagaad Re Tyalagaad released in 2005 for which she gained fame. In 2006, he appeared in the films Chashme Bahaddar and Hirva Chuda. In 2007, Deepali played the lead role in the film Jau Tithe Khau and she also produced a film named Mumbaicha Dabewala in the same year. He played the character of a Lava Dancer in Sasu Numbari Jawai Dus Numbri in 2008. In 2009, he played a supporting role in the comedy film Lagnachi Varat Londonchya Ghara. She starred in the romantic comedy Ladi Godi in which she portrayed the character of Sharmila. He had lead roles in many films like Durga Mhantat Mala (2011), Sambha: Aajcha Chhavaa (2012), Ghungarachya Nadat (2014), Bola Alakh Niranjan (2019) and many more. She performed as a dancer in films like Uchla Re Uchla (2012) and Fekam Faak (2013). In 2020, she appeared in the short video “Punha Ekada Garud Bharari Gheu”.

Before the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Deepali Syed joined the Aam Aadmi Party. In 2014, he contested the Lok Sabha elections from Ahmednagar constituency on an Aam Aadmi Party ticket. However, he lost the election. In 2019, he contested the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election from Mumbra-Kalwa (Thane) on a Shiv Sena Party ticket, but he was defeated in the election.
Social activism
Deepali Sayed started the Deepali Bhosale Sayed Charitable Trust on October 17, 1998 to help people during Covid; His trust distributed food and other essentials to people. It runs many nursing homes and orphanages and has helped flood victims in many parts of the country as a result of the floods. He has also collaborated with various social organizations like My Earth Foundation, Pani Foundation, etc.

His former personal assistant Baburao Shinde held a conference in Ahmednagar on 4 April 2023 and accused him of being in league with Dawood Ibrahim. He claimed that he was a Pakistani citizen and had a fake passport. He also claimed that he owned properties in Dubai and London.
