Yadvinder Goma served as the President of the Indian Youth Congress from the Jaisinghpur Constituency, Himachal unit between 2010 and 2015. He was chosen as the General Secretary of the State Rajeev Gandhi Panchayati Raj Sangathan for three years from 2011 to 2014. From 2012 to 2017, he served as a member of the State Legislative Assembly for the Jaisinghpur constituency. Thereafter, he became the President of the Himachal Pradesh Congress S.C. Cell from 2019 to 2021. In 2022, he won the election with 28,058 votes and was re-elected as a member of the Legislative Assembly for the Jaisingpur constituency. In 2023, he was chosen as the Cabinet Minister in the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
