Jayant Chaudhary is an Indian politician who is the national president of the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD). He contested the General Assembly elections in 2009 from Mathura constituency in Uttar Pradesh and won the seat. Jayant Chaudhary contested the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections for the first time as the RLD chief in alliance with former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav in 2022, following the death of his father Ajit Singh Chaudhary in 2021.

In 2010, Jayant Chaudhary became involved in political issues, protests and campaigns and raised his voice in Parliament for the implementation of the Land Acquisition Act during the farmers’ protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi that same year.
