Yalamanchili Satyanarayana Choudhary aka Srujana Choudhary or Sujana Choudhary was born on 2 June 1961 (age 62; as of 2023) in Kanchikacherya village, Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh. He currently resides in Lodhi Estate, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi. In 1984, Mr. I.S. Chaudhary completed his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Chaitanya Bharati Institute of Technology (CBIT), Hyderabad. He then completed his Masters in Machine Tool Engineering in 1986 from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Mr. I.E. Chaudhary’s political career began in 2010 after he was elected to the Rajya Sabha on behalf of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) from Andhra Pradesh. He has since been part of numerous parliamentary committees and in 2014 was appointed Minister of State for Science and Technology and Earth Sciences. Due to his popularity and social welfare work, his political career took off and he became TDP’s most crucial fundraiser. Before joining the Rajya Sabha, he was a member of the Indo-Singapore Parliamentary Friendship Group, Parliamentary Standing Committee and Parliamentary Forum, besides being a member of the Hyderabad Telecom District Committee, the Clean Energy Task Force formed by Columbia Law School, USA, Chaitanya Bharati Technological University Management Committee and the Court of Justice. In 2016, he was re-elected to the Rajya Sabha for a second term. He is currently appointed as Rajya Sabha MP for Andhra Pradesh from Bharatiya Janta Party.

Social initiatives
Mr. I. Ponnavaram village is 60 km from Vijaywada in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. Within the framework of the program, he took various initiatives to transform the region into a model rural area. In the last two years, it has installed digital classrooms in local government schools and also developed rural medical and infrastructural facilities by building toilets, cemented roads and others.

Charitable trust
Mr. I.E. Choudhary founded the Sujana Charitable Foundation in 2007 with a vision to support two schools in Chennai specially run for challenged children. Through this trust, he has also supported old age homes in Hyderabad. It also offers scholarships and awards for excellence to students in the fields of sports, social entrepreneurship, academia, engineering, agriculture, rural development and poverty alleviation.
