In 2007, he made his television debut with ‘Sadhak Bamakhyapa’ on ETV. He played the role of Bama in the show.
In 2014, the actor essayed the role of Sukumar in the television show ‘Byomkesh’ on Colors Bangla. He rose to fame after playing the role of spiritual leader Ramakrishna Paramahansa in the Bengali period drama television show ‘Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni’ in 2019.
He appeared with his wife in the show ‘K Tumi Nandini’ on Zee Bangla, in which he played the heroine Deori, while his wife, Sushmita, played the role of Saha Mukhopadhyay. In 2022, she appeared as a contestant along with her husband in the Bengali game show ‘Ismart Jodi’ which aired on Star Jalsa. The couple won the show and received a cash prize of 1 million GEL and a set of diamond necklaces.
