On July 8, 2020, the couple tied the knot in a ceremony in Kashmir. On their wedding day, Anila made a unique record on the shikara (boat). Together they are referred to by friends and family as Prani.

In an interview, Anila said that they faced problems a day before their wedding. She said,
Just a week before our big celebration, the wedding planner backed out, the venue was sealed off and a red alert was issued by the weather department for heavy rain. It was so chaotic, but eventually everything fell into place. We managed things ourselves. It was more difficult because I was still in my hometown, Delhi.”

I took the bride in on a shikara (boat) and everything was grand and beautiful. Although it was chaos before the wedding, the wedding day was unforgettable. Now I am with his family in Raipur (Chhattisgarh). They made me feel very comfortable. We will go to Europe for our honeymoon.

Career
Pratik started his career as a model in 2012. He has featured in many popular commercials such as the Kingfisher Airlines commercial featuring Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Subsequently, he created three advertising films for the beverage brand Pepsi. In 2014, he appeared in the short film Yellow Balloon, in which he played the role of a transgender. Directed by Minjae Kang, the film is a short story about a man who helps a young girl retrieve a yellow balloon stuck in the branches of a tree. The story also talks about things and how adults hold things while young children let things go and enjoy the moment. The film was selected as one of the ten best short films in India and won the Best Story and Best Actress awards in 2014-2015. In 2016, he played for Mumbai Tigers in the Box Cricket League.

In the same year, Prateek starred opposite Sunny Leone and Rajneesh Dugal in the Bollywood film Beiimaan Love, which marked his acting debut in Bollywood.
