Neha Mehta is an Indian actress who mainly works in Hindi serials and Gujarati films. She is known for playing the role of Anjali Taarak Mehta in the popular Hindi sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (2008).

Neha K. Mehta was born on Friday 9 June 1978 (age 45 years; as of 2022) in Patan, Gujarat. His zodiac sign is Gemini. He grew up in Vadodara and Ahmedabad. He did his schooling at Sheth BM High School, Patan, Gujarat. She received a diploma in vocal and drama. She received her Master of Performing Arts (MPA) in Indian Classical Dance (Bharatanatyam) from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Gujarat. He later did his PhD in Bharatanatyam under Dr. Vijayanthimala Bali.

Accused of unprofessional conduct
In 2020, he left the Hindi sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (2008). In an interview, when Neha was asked about quitting the show after almost 12 years on it, she said that her royalties were paid with the producers and they were not paying her fees. He even asked sitcom producer Asit Kumar Modi to clear the payments, but he deferred. She said,
I acted in Taarak Mehta as Anjali for 12 years before quitting in 2020. The money for the last six months is waiting. After I left the show, I called them several times regarding my pending bills. I don’t like to complain… I hope there will be a solution soon and I will get my hard earned money.”
Later, in an interview, an official from Asit’s team said that Asit was upset over Neha’s remark and said that it was Neha who left the show without informing them and stopped answering their calls. The official said that since Neha did not complete the exit formalities, she was not entitled to full and final settlement and the makers were unhappy with her unprofessional behaviour.
