Tirath Singh Rawat was born on Thursday, April 9, 1964 (age 59; as of 2023) in the village of Sinro, located in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. His zodiac sign is Aries. He obtained his Master’s degree in Sociology from Hemwati Nandan Baguguna Garhwal University, Birla Campus Srinagar in 1992. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism.

Student politics
During his college days, Rawat became active in student politics, joining the ABVP, the student wing of the Hindu nationalist organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. During his stint in student politics, he became the organizing secretary of the Uttarakhand state unit of the ABVP and was later elected as the national secretary of the ABVP. He was also elected as the Student Union President of Hemwati Nandan Baguguna Garhwal University in 1992.

Rawat was elected to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council in 1997. He served as the first Education Minister of Uttarakhand from 2000 to 2002. In 2007, he was appointed as the state secretary of the BJP in Uttarakhand. He participated in the first legislative elections in 2012 and was elected as Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Chaubatakhal constituency. He was appointed as the Uttarakhand state BJP chief in 2013. In 2019, he contested the Lok Sabha elections for the first time and was subsequently elected as a Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from the Garhwal district. In March 2021, after Uttarakhand’s predecessor Trivendra Singh Rawat resigned a year before the end of his term, Tirath Singh Rawat was appointed as the 9th Chief Minister of Uttarakhand.
On 2 July 2021, he resigned as the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand.

Those who have 10 children received 50 kg, and those in their 20s – one quintal. People with two children received 10 kg. People built shops and found buyers. Who is to blame for this? Now you’re jealous of that. When it was time, you only gave birth to two children. why not produce 20″
During the speech, he also misquoted a key historical fact and confused Britain with America. She said,
Unlike other countries, India is handling the pandemic better. On the other hand, America, which has enslaved us and ruled the world for 200 years, is struggling to control the virus.
