Career

Mayank played for Karnataka against Maharashtra in the 2017–2018 Ranji Trophy in November 2017 and scored his first triple century in first-class cricket. He was recruited by Kings XI Punjab during the 2018 IPL auction. In the 2018 Vijay Hazare Trophy, he was the top scorer for Karnataka. He made his international Test debut against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 26 December 2018. Mayank made his ODI debut against New Zealand at Seddon Park on 5 February 2020.
