Rohit Paudel is a Nepalese cricketer who has captained the Nepal national cricket team in various tournaments and helped Nepal qualify for the Asia Cup in 2023 for the first time.

Rohit Kumar Paudel was born on Monday, September 2, 2002 (age 20 years; as of 2022) in Budha Basti village, District 14, Bardaghati Municipality, Navalparas District, Nepal. Her zodiac sign is Virgo. He was interested in cricket since childhood and played tennis ball cricket with his brothers and friends from the age of five.
In 2014, after watching Nepal play in the T20 World Cup, he decided to become a professional cricketer. He later moved to Kathmandu and trained at the Baluwatari Cricket Academy where he learned the basics of cricket under coach Sunil Lama. He later trained under batting consultant Monty Desai. He played in local and club tournaments before being selected for the Nepal Under-19 cricket team.

He played his debut List-A (one-day) match on 8 February 2018 against Namibia in Windhoek, Namibia. He played his T20 debut on 29 July 2018 against Marylebone Cricket Club at Lord’s, London. In June 2018, he played for the APF team and won the Prime Minister 2075 (PM2075) tournament.
International
up to 19 years
In 2016, he made a name for himself when he smashed Indian pacer Kamlesh Nagarkot for 24 runs in 5 balls in an Under-19 ODI match. He played for the Nepal U-19 team in the 2018 ACC U-19 Asia Cup and the 2020 Asian Qualifiers for the U-19 World Cup.
ODI
He made his ODI debut on 3 August 2018 against Netherlands in Amstelveen, Netherlands. He later played in the 2018 Asian Cup qualifiers. On 26 January 2019, during a match against the United Arab Emirates, he scored his maiden half-century with 55 runs off 58 deliveries. On 25 March 2023, during a match against Papua New Guinea, he scored his maiden century of 126 runs off 107 balls.
In November 2019, he played in the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup and later in the South Asian Games, helping Nepal win the bronze medal. He was awarded the central contract by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) in September 2020.
T20I
He made his T20I debut on 31 January 2019 against the United Arab Emirates in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. On 2 April 2022, he scored his first T20I half-century in Malaysia with 51 runs off 34 balls. In June 2019, he was selected for the regional finals of the 2018–19 ICC T20 World Cup Asian Qualifiers.
