He especially remembers his relationship with Suresh Raina. He said that Raina gave him good advice and he also learned a lot from her. In an interview he said –

I learned a lot from him, he was a model of discipline, how to carry yourself. I learned a lot watching him. He convinced me, Raina bhai talked about his growing up days and how there was a senior-junior fight back then and how the youngsters didn’t talk much. He encouraged me and everyone else to speak freely. It was a nice gesture.”

What I am today is because of Sachin Tendulkar. If I hadn’t seen him play, he wouldn’t have gone this far. I grew up watching him. I think about Sachin before every game. It gives me the courage and strength to make the run. Even when I was playing tennis in local tournaments, I always tried to copy Sachin Paa ji’s strokes. My dream is to meet Sachin Tendulkar and get advice from him and one day wear the blue colors of the Indian team.
