Himmanshoo Malhotra, also spelled as Himanshu, is an Indian actor known for his roles in Bollywood films such as Shershaah (2021), Wajah Tum Ho (2016) and the television show Bhagonwali – Baante Apni Taqdeer (2010) on Zee TV.

Himmanshoo Malhotra aka Himanshu Ashok Malhotra was born on Friday, April 2, 1982 (age 40; as of 2022) in New Delhi, India. His zodiac sign is Aries. He did his pre-schooling at Delhi Public School, RK Puram, New Delhi. Himmanshu completed his higher education at Kulachi Hans Raj Model School. In an interview, Himmanshu Malhotra revealed that he was dating someone during his school and college days for about four years. She said,
At that time I was dating someone, actually, since my school days. He was at Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College and I was at The Hindu. This lasted until my sophomore year of college, a relationship of almost three and a half to four years. At the end of last year we broke up. I used to go and pick up from Khalsa College on the scooter I had at that time, we used to go to movies and everything.

In 2006, Himmanshaw made his Bollywood debut with the film Mr Khujli, in which he played the role of Raj.

In 2016, Himmanshaw appeared in the film Wajah Tum Ho, in which he played the role of Karan Parekhas. In 2019, he was seen in the film Hum Chaar, in which he played the role of Aarambi. In 2021, Himmanshaw appeared in the film Shershaah, which is a biopic of Captain Vikram Batra, who sacrificed his life fighting for India in the Kargil War.

He played the role of Captain Rajeev Kapoor opposite Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani. In an interview he said,
I am very happy that my role was appreciated by the audience. Appraisals poured in from all corners. People from different cities around the world commented on my authentic appearance; This is a very warm feedback and also close to my heart. I had a great time shooting the film. And now that people are appreciating my work, it feels even better.”

In 2004, Himmansho made his television debut in the Zee TV show ‘India’s Best Cinema Ki Khoji’. He appeared in various shows like Star One’s ‘Ssshhhh… Phir Koi Hai’ (2007), Sahara One’s ‘Kaisi Laagi Lagan’ as Swayam (2008), Zee TV’s ‘Aap Ki Antara’ as Sameer (2009).

In 2010, he appeared in the Zee TV show Bhagonwali-Baante Apni Taqdeer, in which he played the role of Gudu Shukla. Later, he was seen in other shows like Sony TV’s ‘Love Harde Ya Arranged Marriage’ as Anoop Sisodya (2012), Sony TV’s ‘Encounter’ as Inspector Tilak Nambiyar (2014), UTV Bindass ‘Yeh Hai Aashiqui’ as Inspector Mayur (2014) and Starplus’ ‘Airlines’ as Rohit Mafatlal (2015).

In 2015, Himmanshu along with his wife Amruta participated in the dance reality show Nach Baliye Season 7 and the couple won the show.

In an interview, he talked about winning a dance reality show with his wife and said:
In our country, victory is very important and it is often associated with great happiness. Obviously we wanted to win and now that we have won we are very happy. It seems that people’s prayers have been heard and I feel that today is Eid for us.”
In 2016, he participated in Colors TV’s sports reality show Box Cricket League Season 2 and Color’s reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 7. He appeared in several other TV shows such as Star Plus’ Dil Jaise Dhadke… Dhadakne Do as Dr Sanjay (2020) and Chikosh 2020).
