Charanjit Kaur Sidhu started her political career in 2018; When he participated in the Punjab Gram Panchayat elections held in Moosa village of Mansa district of Punjab. He contested the elections with the support of the Indian National Congress (INC). Charanjit Kaur managed to win the election defeating her rival from Akali Dal by 702 votes. The main agenda of his election campaign was the fight against drug and alcohol abuse in the village of Moza.
