Andrea Kevichusa made her Bollywood debut with the Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer social thriller Anek. She is the female lead of the Anubhav Sinha directorial as she portrays a boxer named Aido in the film which released on 27 May 2022.

There could not be a better choice than Andrea for the main role in “Annek”. His North Eastern roots added originality to the story. Besides, Andrea lost a lot of sweat for this character. His tough looks and phenomenal acting helped him portray the character well. “
In an interview, Andrea shared her thoughts on her major Bollywood debut. She said,
When I finally realized that I would be working with creative people who are big names in the industry, I think I scared myself into thinking that I wouldn’t be able to perform as well as they expected.

But Ayushmann and Anubhav sir created such a comfortable environment for me on the set that I didn’t feel any extra pressure to over-perform or do anything beyond my capabilities as a newbie in the field.”
Unlike the cold treatment that other debutants usually get in Bollywood, Andrea Kevichusa was welcomed for her debut by actors like Neena Gupta, Kriti Sanon, Bhumi Pednekar, Taapse Pannu, Huma Qureshi and Aditi Rao Hydari. They greeted him with Instagram posts. His debut film features a rap song sung by powerhouse singer Sunidhi Chauhan with lyrics and music composed by Shakeel Azmi and Anurag Saikia respectively. The rap video features Sunidhi Chauhan and Andrea, choreographed by Sneha Singh. In the interview, Andrea said:
It was a great experience because it’s the first music video I’ve shot. With Sunidhi’s voice, the song has become even more powerful and upbeat.”
According to reports, Andrea has done several commercials and shows in Tollywood as well. He also appeared as a guest on The Kapil Sharma Show with his co-star Ayushmann Khurrana and director Anubhav Sinha to promote his film Aneki.

Andrea Kevichusa became a victim of racism. He revealed in an interview that he once met a woman who was unaware of the fact that Nagaland is a part of India. He narrated what happened and said:
I was probably around 16 years old and I remember telling the make-up artist that I have a flight to Nagaland and will come back home because I miss being with my parents. And he was like, “Oh this? When are you coming back to your country?’ I was really surprised because he really didn’t know that Nagaland was a part of India. “
he added,
It doesn’t matter what I look like or what language I speak. I am an Indian because I was born in this country. I think it does quite a disservice to the fact that people have to prove that they are Indian. I am from Nagaland and I don’t think it is right to prove that I am an Indian in other cities or the rest of the country.”
