Baghban, in my opinion, was the biggest mistake I made in my career. At first, someone else had to play the role, and then I came into the picture. It was the role of a man who had an adult daughter. Baghban happened in 2003 and I was 31 years old then. I played father to Rimi Sen. I couldn’t say no to that because I was very close to Ravi Chopra. I did many projects with him. I have been in this industry for over eight years. I worked hard to achieve all this. I have never been used by anyone in my life. Ruchi was calling me at his hotel, but I refused. I called my house. If I had some wrong intention, I would have called him at night. I called at 3:30 in the afternoon and had to go to the second shoot at 3:45. I appeal to the public to prevent the motives of such people so that my name is not tarnished in this way.”
