Revati Chhetri was born on Sunday, July 4, 1993 (age 30 years; as of 2023) in Haflong, a town in the Indian state of Assam. For her primary and secondary education, she attended St. Agnes Convent High School, Haflon, Assam. Later, he joined Lumding College, Lumding, Assam to pursue his higher education. Revathi received her BA in Laws from NEF College of Law, Guwahati, Assam. Revati was inclined towards acting and modeling since childhood and she participated in all cultural and extra-curricular activities of school and colleges.

Revati Chhetri auditioned for Miss India Femina Miss India 2015 in East India in 2015. Her confidence and modeling skills helped her qualify as a top-5 finalist for Miss India Kolkata. Later, she made it to the top 10 finalists of the Femina Miss India 2015 pageant, but failed to advance to the next round of the pageant. During her spectacular journey, she won the Miss Popular and Miss Multimedia titles.
In 2016, at the Miss University World pageant held in Beijing, Revati Chhetri was crowned Miss Asia. He was among the top six finalists in online voting. She also won the title of Miss Multimedia for her strong social media presence. In the same year, she also represented India at the 56th edition of the Miss International pageant held in Tokyo, Japan. During the interview, she was asked about the fascination of social media that led her to win titles in various beauty pageants, to which she replied:
This is my third pageant and I have always been chosen as ‘Miss Multimedia and Miss Popular’ based on my popularity in CSR and all because my fellow Indians in my home have always prayed for my success and blessed me with likes, comments and shares.”

After achieving success in beauty pageants, Miss International India 2016 chose to pursue a modeling career. She walked for the first time at the Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festival 2018 held from August 22 to August 26 at the St Regis Hotel, Mumbai. After she walked the runway for various famous designers of India including Tarun Tahiliani, Ritu Beri. Rohit Bal, Ritu Kumar and Falguni Shane Peacock. In a very short time Chhetri was considered among the most successful models in the glamor industry. During a media interaction, when asked about her idol in modeling, she replied:
Well! I don’t actually mean an individual person when it comes to modeling. There are so many very talented models in India and abroad. I always try to idolize the good in all of them so that it will help me a lot in my career.”

Revati Chhetri made her acting debut in 2016 with Dream House Production music video directed by Deepak Dey for Suresh Shama album ‘Tumi Mur’ and music composed by ‘Bulbul and Rosty’. Then, in 2017, she was announced as the lead in Subin Bhattarai’s Nepali film Summer Love. The Nepali film was based on Subin Bhattarai’s bestselling novel Summer Love and was released in 2019. He later acted in the movie Gangs of North East which is based in North East India. This film was released in three languages, Hindi for national release, Assamese and Khasi. Miss International India 2016 appeared on the TV screen in the Zing TV drama series ‘Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya’. She got to share the screen with leading television actors like Surbhi Jyoti, Parth Samthaan and Meiyang Chang.

Revati Chhetri devotes a lot of time to the social welfare of the society. He is associated with many non-profit organizations. In 2016, she took part in a candlelight procession demanding justice for a brutal rape victim who was found dead near the Dihing River in Guwahati, Assam. More than 200 people, including many Bollywood celebrities, marched to seek justice for the victim and her family. This incident shocked the entire state of Assam and drew comparisons with the Nirbhaya incident that happened earlier in New Delhi. He promised to help the victim’s family.
