Babita Kapoor is a former Indian actress, the niece of famous Indian actress Sadhana Shivdasan and daughter of actor Hari Shivdasan. He made his acting debut in the drama film Dus Lakh in 1966. She became incredibly famous when she starred opposite Rajesh Khanna in the 1967 romantic thriller Raaz.

Babita Shivdasani Kapoor was born on Sunday, 20 April 1947 (age 76; as of 2023) in Karachi, British India (now Pakistan). Babita later moved to Mumbai with her family, where her cousin Sadana Shivdasni encouraged her to pursue acting.
