In 2006, Mithun started working as a music composer; However, she rose to fame in the Indian music industry in 2011 with the song Phir Mohabbat from the movie Murder 2 and Tum Hi Ho from the movie Aashiqui 2 in 2013.
He came into limelight in 2005 when his songs ‘Woh Lamhe’ from the film Zeher and ‘Aadat’ from the film Kalyug became superhits.
