Vaibhavi Upadhyaya (1990-2023) was an Indian actor, theater artist and singer. She played the role of Jasmine Mavan in the popular Hindi sitcom Sarabhai vs Sarabhai (2004). On 23 May 2023, he died in a car accident in Himachal Pradesh.

On 23 May 2023, he died in a car accident while on vacation in Banjar, Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. A few days earlier, she had come on holiday with her fiance Jay. While the couple was traveling in a Fortuner car, the car went out of control at Sidhwa near Banjar and the car fell about 50 feet into the valley. The local residents immediately informed the local police about the incident. Vaibav and Jay were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in Banjar. Doctors pronounced him dead, but Jay survived with serious injuries. Soon her brother reached Himachal Pradesh to claim his sister’s body. On 24 May 2023, the last rites of Vaibhav were performed in Mumbai. Indian actor Satish Shah shared about his death through his Twitter account. He tweeted,
Vaibavi Upadhyay aka Jasmin in our series Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, a great actor and colleague has gone to heaven today. The entire SvS team is in shock. Om Shanti.”
