Career
Jatin Goswami made his acting debut in 2009 with the film ‘Bombay Summer’ written and directed by Joseph Mathew. The film follows the story of three friends who struggle to survive in Mumbai and their eventual disintegration due to betrayal and personal loss. Jatin played a character named Madani opposite Gaurav Dwivedi and Samrat Chakraborty.
In 2012, he became a part of the action thriller film ‘Tezz’. Jathin got a chance to work with Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Zayed Khan, Sameera Reddy and Boman Irani in the film. Jatin improved his acting skills with each role and began to gain critical appreciation for his acting skills. One of the highlights of his career is his performance in ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’. Directed by Kushan Nandy, the Hindi-language action-thriller tells the story of a small-time hit man, Babu, his love, his friends, rivalries and revenge. Jatin played the character of Banke Bihari, another contract killer who is mentored by Babu Bihari played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The Bombay summer actress gave a phenomenal performance in Babumoshai Bandukbaaz and received critical acclaim for it. The other cast of the film included Bidita Chantha, Shraddha Das, Murali Sharma, Divya Dutta, Mahesh Chandra Deva and several others. The film was released in theaters on August 25, 2017.

Although the actors of the film tried their best to present a good film to the audience, but ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’ received a lot of backlash from the critics due to the offensive content shown in the film. One media house quotes the film:

In 2019, the Bombay Summer actress made her television debut with the Indian sci-fi series Skyfire, directed by Soumik Sen. The series premiered on ZEE5 on 22 May 2019. The serial starred Prateik Bababar, Sonal Chauhan, Jishu Sengupta Smith and. Jatin Goswami appeared in the serial as Syed Ali Hassan.

In 2022, Jatin Goswami appeared in The Great Indian Murder, a web series that aired on Disney+ Hotstar. It was an adaptation of Vikas Swarap’s 2016 bestseller Six Suspects. The trailer of the series was launched virtually in the presence of Gaurav Banerjee, Content Head Disney+ Hotstar and Ajay Devgn and Priti Vinay Sinha who produced both the series. In February 2022, he was also announced to be cast in the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer in the upcoming Indian Hindi-language action thriller Anek. Written and directed by Anubhav Sinha.
