In 2016, Gurjoat Siingh Khangura participated in the team event along with Mairaj Ahmed Khan and Sheeraz Sheikh at the Asian Shotgun Championships held in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

In 2019, he participated in the 63rd National Shooting Championship held at Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi, India. In 2021, he took part in the ISSF World Cup held in New Delhi, India. In the same year, he also participated in the ISSF World Championship (Shotgun) held in Osijek, Croatia. In 2022, he participated in the team event of men’s skeet shooting at the Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China. In the individual event, he secured the fourth position. In 2023, Gurjoat Siingh Khangura participated in the 2023 ISSF World Cup held in Cairo, Egypt. In 2023, he participated in the Men’s Skeet event at the Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China. Gurjoat along with Angad Vir Singh Bajwa and Anantjeet Singh Naruka, scored a total of 355 points in the team event.

Facts/Trivia

  • Gurjoat Siingh Khangura got inclined towards shooting because of the guns his father had from being an army man. Gurjoat started shooting at the tender age of seven. His father introduced him to an air rifle and made him take part in the Mision Olympics Programme organized by the Indian army. He started his official shooting career at the age of 18.
